During their visit, we went to see the Knights of Columbus museum in New Haven, CT, where the K of C were founded.
Here's just a few of the interesting things we saw.
This painting was commissioned in anticipation of the pope's U.S. visit in April 2008. The statue of the angel on the pope's left holds the first encyclical letter by Pope Benedict XVI, Deus Caritas Est (God is Love) and the parable of the good Samaritan.
A statue of St. Peter, a replica of the one in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
This is a sweet-look'n sword.
Artillery shell fragment from the August 1943 bombardment of Rome in World War II.
A very beautiful crucifix.

Br. Fidelis chows down with his parents. They took us out to eat after we went to New Haven.
We are very thankful for the support of our families.
Ya'll come back Ya hear!
